Declan Landy has been giging throughout Ireland and Europe for over 20 years. A versatile performer on vocals, guitar, keyboards and harmonica, Declan has been writing original songs since aged sixteen and has written well over 100 songs. He has played as support act to many fine acts including Mick Hanly, Aslan,  Jimmy Mac Carthy and Kate and Anna McGarrigle, in venues such as Dublin’s Olympia Theatre , Vicar St., The Button Factory, and in London venues The 100 Club and Half Moon. He also spent a year performing in The Shamrock Bar, Mallorca, Spain.

In July 2013 Declan’s song ‘Give A Little Love’ was chosen by legendary producer Steve Lillywhite (U2, Rolling Stones, The Killers ) as part of the RTE songwriting show ‘The Hit’. ‘Give A Little Love’ was chosen by Steve Lillywhite as one of thirty songs from over one thousand entries. In 2001 he featured on 2FM’S Gerry Ryan Show playing an original composition ‘Happy Birthday Bob’ as a tribute to Bob Dylan. Declan has released three C.D’s of his own material – ‘Restless Soul’ , ‘Sunday Jean’ and ‘Here She Comes’ which you can check out here.
